Thrilight

Automate venue lighting around reservations with Thril's own Thrilight lighting integration.

Thrilight is Thril's own lighting automation system. The integration turns venue lighting on and off automatically based on your reservation calendar. You can also configure resource-specific settings under each resource's settings.

Prerequisites

Thrilight requires hardware installation and configuration by Thril. Contact Thril support to get started.

To enable

  1. Contact Thril support to request Thrilight setup for your venue
  2. Once Thril has configured the hardware, open Settings → System → Integrations → Thrilight
  3. Configure the lighting offset times and fallback instructions (see below)
  4. Toggle Integration status to Active
  5. Select Save changes

Configuration options

  • Lighting offset times: how many minutes before and after a reservation lighting should be turned on
  • Fallback instructions: a message shown to customers if Thril detects an issue with Thrilight (for example, "If the lights don't turn on, please contact us."). Enable Always show fallback instructions to display it regardless of Thrilight's status. You can also set resource-specific fallback instructions under each resource's settings.

Relay groups and clients

The Thrilight settings page has two additional tabs:

  • Relay groups: configure which relay groups control which resources
  • Clients: view connected Thrilight client devices and their last seen status

Troubleshooting

  • Inactivating the integration stops new reservations from syncing to Thrilight.
  • For any issues with Thrilight, contact Thril support.
