Your own website
Simple changes that help Google understand your website, and send visitors on to booking.
You don't need a new website. A few clear changes help Google understand what you offer, and help visitors book. These tips follow Google's SEO Starter Guide.
Say what you offer, and where
- Put your sport and city in the page title and in the first sentence, for example "Padel in Lohja: four indoor courts, open every day".
- Write for people, not for Google. Google rewards pages made to help people (Google: Creating helpful content).
- Don't repeat keywords over and over. Google treats keyword stuffing as spam, and it doesn't use the "keywords" meta tag at all (Google).
One page per thing people search for
If you have several sports or services, give each its own page with its own title, for example Padel, Gym and Courses. Someone searching for "padel course" then lands on the right page.
Make booking one click away
- Add a clear Book now button on every page, linking to your Thril page.
- To show your schedule on your own site, publish Thril's public week calendar and embed it: Settings → Venue details → Public week calendar → Embed on your own website.
Photos and text
- Put photos next to the text they relate to.
- Give every photo a short description (alt text), for example "Indoor padel court with glass walls" (Google).
Works on a phone
Most people search on their phone. Open your site on your own phone and check that text is readable, buttons are easy to tap and pages open quickly.
Keep your details the same
Write your name, address and phone number exactly the same way as in your Google Business Profile and in Thril, so people and search engines see one clear business.
